Wanda Faith (Dugger) Adams

Wanda Faith Adams, 77 years, of Colora, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at home. Born March 17, 1946 in Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Folk and Helen Marie Hackney Dugger.

She was a nurse's aide at Calvert Manor Nursing Home for several years, but her greatest passion was being a homemaker to her family. One of her most treasured joys was loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wanda loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Conowingo Baptist Church and Calvary Missionary Baptist Church for the majority of her life. The countless church gatherings she served at wouldn’t have been complete without her baking.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Donald Adams; daughter, Tessa Hall(Ronald); four grandchildren, Bradley Hall (Nicole), Alisha Hamilton (Michael), Megan McDowell (Andrew), and Alexis Hall; nine great-grandchildren; Logan, Landon, Ella, Jaxon, Liam, William, Mia, Lawson, Henry; brother, Larry Dugger; sisters, Helen Evans, Sharon Kubik, and Jewel Stout; and countless nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Barry Adams; brother, Ross Dugger; and sister, Thelma Kellner.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Rising Sun, MD.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, 11 AM, at the church. Interment will be in Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD.
