Wenda "Wendy" Preston Logan passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026. Wendy was the beloved daughter of Willard Gordon Preston and Mary Dawson Preston. Wendy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George Clinton Logan III.
She is survived by her daughter, Audra Lynn Logan of Perryville; son George Clinton Logan IV, and wife, Donna Kathleen Logan (her bonus daughter); grandchildren, Brooklyn Nicole Logan (Matt Roberts) and George Clinton Logan V; great-grandson, Daniel Joseph Roberts; sisters, Bonnie Lee Preston (who died in infancy), Catherine Marie Preston of Perryville, and Roberta Jean Preston (Andrew Kahn) of Hydes, MD; nieces, Amy Peters Saylor, Melissa Christine Cruz, and Laura Kluge
Wendy was a lifetime member of Perryville United Methodist Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Perryville High School. Wendy was employed at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Harford Memorial Hospital. She retired from Maryland Army National Guard, USPFO. She was very active as a mother and cheerleader for her beloved grandchildren and nieces in the Perryville Little League. Wendy was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan who rarely missed a game. She loved her family wholeheartedly and was a great cook and baker, food was love to Wendy. Everyone was welcome in her home. She was genuinely a good and kind person.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, July 6, 2025, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
Following the committal service, everyone is invited back to the Perryville American Legion.
