William David Gonce

William David Gonce, 23 yrs, Perryville, MD, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017.  Born May 18, 1994 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Jeffrey and Maria Gonce. David was a graduate of Perryville High School Class of 2012 and the Cecil County School of Technology where he studied agriculture. He was a member of the Community Fire Company of  Perryville, MD. David was a very hard worker and was formerly employed by the Holman Contract Warehouse, Inc. and the 7-Eleven Store, both of Perryville. He was excited to begin his new career at the new Amazon.com Inc. fulfillment center of Perryville. David was a very loving young man with a heart of gold.  He had many friends and was loved by all who knew him. He was an advocate for volunteering and charity work. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his computer games, and being a member of the Fur-The-More group. David is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Maria Gonce of Perryville, MD; brothers, David Breeden of Kentucky, Jonathan Breeden of Perryville, MD, Edward Cole of Aberdeen, MD, and Jeffrey Gonce II of Perryville, MD; sisters, Brittany Austin of Charlestown, MD, and Kandice Henderson of North East, MD; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Margaret Rakes, and paternal grandparents, Percy and Dorothy Gonce. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, 7 PM until 9P M, at the funeral home.  Pastor Bo VanDyke of Christ the King Church of Havre de Grace, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
