Yvonne Hurley Pearce

Yvonne Hurley Pearce, 85 years, of Colora, MD, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her residence. Born July 19, 1939 in Ashe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thurman E. and Rhoda Olive Powers Hurley.

Yvonne was formerly employed by the York County Hospital & Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of the Mt. Nebo Church of Delta, PA, and a former member of the Warsaw Church of God of Warsaw, VA.

Yvonne is survived by her sons, Denny Lee Scotten, Kenneth Edward Scotten, and Woodrow Thomas Boone; daughters, Debra Yvonne Scotten Lucas and Kim-Marie Scotten Miller; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, James Edward Hurley.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Pearce; brothers, Charles Harvey Hurley, Garnet Lee Hurley, and Gregory Alan Hurley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
