Anna Elizabeth (Burton) Baird

Anna Elizabeth Burton Baird, 86 years, of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Autumn Lake Healthcare at Calvert Manor. Born March 30, 1937 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and R. Anna Smith Burton.

Anna was formerly employed in housekeeping at the Motel 6 of Elkton, MD. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Cooper; son, Ronald Baird (Billie); grandsons, Ryan Baird, Joshua McGinnis and Joseph McGinnis (Kristen); granddaughters, Leah Baird and Kacie Baird; great-grandson, Noah McGinnis; sisters, Millie Jones, Myra Breyer and Georgette Nielsen.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baird; sons, Richard Baird and Robert Baird; daughter, Roberta Copenhaver; sister, Clara Pyles; and brother, John Burton.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 2 PM, at the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery of Port Deposit, MD. Rev. Karen Burnell of Elkton, MD, will officiate.
