Barbara Ann Brown

Ms. Barbara Ann Brown of Perryville, MD, passed peacefully from this Earth on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Born May 7, 1945 in Perryville, Barb was the daughter of the late Arthur Hasson Brown and the late Mabel Temperance (Owens) Brown.

Barb retired from the Cecil County Vo-Tech Center after 25 years of service.  She served as a Perryville Town Commissioner.  Barb was a member and former Registrar of the Head of Elk Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.  She was also a member of the Patterson Farm Cemetery Association and was dedicated to researching family genealogy, whether Owens, Brown, or Patterson.

Barb was pre-deceased by her brother, Dale Leslie Brown, Sr, two nieces, and her feline companions, Black and Thomas.  She is survived by a nephew, Dale Leslie Brown, Jr, two nieces, two nephews, many cousins, and her caregiver, Lucinda Rhoades.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 2, 2023, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
