Beaula Florice (Asbury) Johnson

Beaula Florice Johnson, 95 years, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at home. Born December 13, 1926 in Lego, Raleigh County, W.VA. she was the daughter of the late Austin and Cliffie Houston Asbury.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Church of God of North East, MD, their headquarters being located in Cleveland, TN. She is survived by her son, Larry M. Johnson; daughter, Carolyn L. Credle; four grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Claude Asbury of High Point, NC; sisters, Jean Denny of Lansing, NC, and Netti Parodi of Wilmington, DE.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus A. Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Smokey Mountain Children’s Home, 449 McCarn Circle, Sevierville, TN 37862 Attn: Chesapeake Cottage.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2022, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, June 6, 2022, 12 Noon until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastors Steven & Catherine Hooker of the New Beginnings Church of God of Aberdeen, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
