Obituary

Betty Jane Mick, 81 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023. Born September 6, 1941 in Rising Sun, MD, she was the daughter of the late Issac Edward Pierce and Stella Mae Reynolds.

Betty was formerly employed as a Dietician by the V.A. Medical Center of Perry Point, MD.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, William C. Mick; son, Ralph David Jackson; daughters, Lori Lynn Martin and Cindy Lou Doyle; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and brother, Stanley Robert Pierce.

Betty was preceded in death by her late husband, Ralph Clayton Jackson; brothers, Edward Issac Pierce, Joseph Franklin Pierce, James Henry Pierce, Lawrence Edward Pierce, David Wayne Pierce; and sisters, Ruth Adeline Poff and May Louise Wright.

A Graveside Service has been scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2023, 12 Noon, at the Brookview Cemetery of Rising Sun, MD. Pastor Kenneth Coleman of the Rising Sun Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate.
