Marian L. Hathaway

Marian L. Hathaway, 91 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 in the Citizens Care Center of Havre de Grace, MD. Born December 22, 1932 in Smithfield, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Surrey Brown and Goldie Mae Tassone.

Mrs. Hathaway was formerly employed by L & H Cleaners of Havre de Grace, MD. She is survived by her sons; Christopher Hathaway of Havre de Grace, MD, Frank Salerno of Middle River, MD, Michael Hoglund of Laurel, MD, Dr. Edward Hoglund of Merritt Island, FL, Joseph Hoglund of Rising Sun, MD; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Alice McCall of Tampa, FL; and brother in law, Robert Hathaway of Largo, FL.

Mrs. Hathaway enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was truly a giver who passionately gave from her heart. She loved and cared deeply for her family. Her other passions were being dressed in an always coordinated stylish fashion sense, and having a clean coordinated home - inside and outside.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hathaway was preceded in death by her husband, William Hathaway; daughter, Anja Izzo, and her husband, Joe Izzo, and their son, Nathan Izzo; her brothers Dennis, Harry, Brooks, Max, Eugene, and Tony.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Reverend Holyn Ivy-Bogert will officiate. Interment will be in the West Nottingham Cemetery of Colora, MD.
