Richard Lewis Lesert

Richard Lewis Lesert, 69 years, of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Elkton Care & Rehabilitation Center of Elkton, MD. Born September 1, 1951 in Michigan, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ann Lesert.

Mr. Lesert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and employed as a mechanic by Intercontinental Services, LLC of Wilmington, DE. He is survived by his loving wife, Blanche Marie Brooks Lesert of North East, MD; sons, Michael Lesert, Dwight Andrew and Edd Farringtor Jr.; daughter, Brenda McMahan; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Fred Lesert and Clarence Lesert.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lesert was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Keene.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor James D. Grooms of the Maranatha Baptist Church of Elkton, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
