Richard Joseph Otter

Richard Joseph Otter, 77 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at home. Born May 17, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Gordon and Pearl Rose Floyd Otter.

Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, and was retired from the Comer Construction Company.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Shelli) Michele Reesey; step-son, Robert Blankenship; several grandchildren; and brothers, Carl Otter and Ray Otter.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son, Richard Otter; brother, Gordon Otter; and sister, Rose Otter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, October 2, 2023, 11:30 AM, at the Garrison Forrest Veterans Cemetery of Owings Mills, MD.
