Sarah Frances (Bolyard) Bennett

Sarah Frances Bennett, 84 years, of Conowingo, MD, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 in the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD. Born December 30, 1933 in Deer Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Phyllis M. Smith Bolyard.

Sarah is survived by her sons, Joseph R. Bennett, Jr., of Colora, MD, Timothy S. Bennett and wife, Amy, also of Colora, MD, David G. Bennett of Red Lion, PA; daughter, Sarah L. Ruppert and husband, Marty, of Dover, PA; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Dorothy Helmick of Newport, TN, and Patricia Simons of Elk Garden, WVA.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Bolyard and sisters, Sylvia Bircher and Gladys "Willy" Hipp.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 30, 2018, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
