Teresa Elaine Williams

Teresa Elaine Williams, born December 28, 1959 in the state of Maine to the late Ralph and Bertha Williams, departed this life Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in the Jefferson Washington Township Hospital of Sewell, NJ.

Teresa received her early education at EmLynn Elementary School of Philadelphia, PA, and Erial 5 New Jersey High School of Highland, NJ, where she graduated in 1976.

She attended the University of Delaware and graduated with degrees in agriculture and stenography. Over the years, Teresa has been employed by Comcast, Fiberglass Co., USB Satellite, and the school system. She would sometimes substitute teach in elementary schools and middle schools in the area where she lived. 

Teresa loved to make beautiful floral arrangements and would make arrangements to put on the graves of her parents, brothers, grandparents, and other relatives. She also loved to come to Maryland to visit family on special occasions or just when she felt the urge. Teresa would call Aunt Mary to see if she could stay for a couple of days. But the thing she loved most was SHOPPING!

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph (Alec) and Bertha (Bert) Williams; brother, Ralph (Ralphie) Williams; and paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Ivan of NJ; niece, Ashley of NJ; nephew, Ivan, Jr. of  NJ; aunt, Mary Owens (Malcolm) of Perryville, MD; uncles, Gene Gaylord, Sr., and Malcom Owens, Sr.; close friend, Judy Keene; special friend, Jerome; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2024, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Steven Deveaux of the First Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Berkley Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
