Patsy Carolyn Gilliam Long, 80 yrs, of Aberdeen, MD, died Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born January 6, 1932, in Sparta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Reece and Carrie Phipps Gilham.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker and is survived by her son, Michael D. Long and wife, Julie of Conowingo, MD; grandchildren, Michael E. Long and wife, Tina, Thomas M. Burnett, Brittany A. Long; great grandson, Ian M. Long; brother, Rev. David R. Gilliam of Sparta, NC.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Eugene Long; daughter, Terry A. Burnett; brother, Wesley Gilliam; sisters, Grace Calloway and Jean Gentry.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 5, 2012, ll AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012, 2 PM until 4 PM, at the funeral home. Rev. Amos Richardson. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
